People complaining about it not having basic functionality must be using an old version. Videos play fine. You can pause with a button. Fast forward, rewind, brightness, and volume are all controlled with gestures that aren't difficult to figure out. You can pinch to zoom. Subtitles are managed by Android's built-in captioning. Has a pop-up video option. My only suggestion would be to have the pop-up player activate automatically when focus changes to home or another app.

Thank you for your review and understanding what the app is actually about. There's also actually auto picture-in-picture mode - long tap the gear icon to activate such feature in this advance settings.

Simple. The instructions for use are not on the main Google Play page and are non-existent on the app. No looping capability that I have found, and no easy way to scroll frame by frame through video if videos are short. Videos made with a high speed camera are about 4 seconds in length. It would be nice to scroll through them frame by frame, and loop through them while showing them. Overall nice, but I'll have to keep looking to find what I need. Best regards.

Please add a feature to download subtitles directly from the internet within the app, with the ability to search for and select the subtitle language while watching. This would be a great addition to Jest Player. Thank you!
